We have amended our cancellation policy in the event of a lock down that is related to COVID19. If your booking is affected and we are unable to allow guests to stay in our holiday cottage, we will be happy to re-schedule your reservation to a date of your choice that is available. There may be a seasonal cost adjustement dependent on the dates selected.

Should you or any of your party exhibit symptoms or  believe you may have come into contact with the virus up to 14 days prior to booking, you must follow the Government instruction to self-isolate and follow NHS guidelines and not travel to Stowaway Beach House. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your booking.

If you are in one of the vulnerable groups advised by the Government to self-isolate, contacted by Track and Trace and instructed by the Government to self-isolate, or travelling from an area in lockdown, please contact Stowaway Beach House for help and advice with your booking.

Guests will be asked to follow guidelines on social distancing when out and about. Stowaway Beach House is an individual self-contained, self-catering cottage. It is very easy for guests to avoid contact with others during their stay and to have a relaxing holiday without leaving the property.

Guests could arrange for groceries to be delivered to their cottage.  This service is available at Jempsons in Rye and other local supermarkets. There is a Nisa store in Camber Village and an independent convenience store; both have hand sanitiser at the entrance and exit and controls relating to the number of customers permitted inside their premises at any one time.

Guests are advised that there may be restricted opportunities to eat out and may wish to fully self-cater.

We will provide additional cleaning materials for guests to clean all areas of the cottage throughout their stay.

Our cottage is professionally deep cleaned between guests using industrial strength cleaning solutions. A checklist of our cleaning regime is displayed on the notice board inside the cottage. This information can be provided in advance upon request.
