From May 2017 lifeguards will patrol our wonderful beach at Camber Sands in East Sussex! Rother District Council have approved a new lifeguard station costing £51,000 to watch over and patrol the beach from May to the end of the summer. This station is presently being constructed between Marine Cottages (Stowaway Beach House) and the Marine Cafe just in front of Central Car Park. This will be a real asset to the beach as it will make visitors and holidaymakers undwerstand the dangers of the sea, feel safe, relaxed and enjoy spending time at this wonderful beach resort.
